Q1
Question:What would you improve first in your school system?
Model answer:I would focus on helping students who fall behind early. Better diagnostic assessments and targeted support could reduce later difficulties without requiring every school to adopt the same teaching method.
Q2
Question:Should all students learn programming?
Model answer:Basic computational thinking can be valuable, but schools should avoid reducing digital education to coding alone. Evaluating information, understanding systems and protecting privacy matter as well.
Q3
Question:Who should pay for expanded public transport?
Model answer:Funding should reflect public benefits, the financial position of users and long-term operating costs. A mixed approach may be fairer than expecting passengers alone to finance every improvement.
Q4
Question:Can economic growth continue without harming the environment?
Model answer:Growth and environmental protection are not necessarily incompatible, but the outcome depends on energy systems and resource use. Governments need measurable standards rather than vague promises.
Q5
Question:Should scientific research always be publicly funded?
Model answer:Some research deserves public support when benefits are uncertain but potentially widespread. Nevertheless, clear objectives and independent oversight remain important because budgets are limited.
Q6
Question:What is the main risk of digital government services?
Model answer:Online systems may exclude people who lack suitable devices or confidence. Public agencies should offer accessible alternatives and practical assistance while improving digital security.
Q7
Question:Should companies be responsible for workers displaced by automation?
Model answer:Employers should provide reasonable training and transparent communication when jobs change. However, governments and educational institutions also have roles in supporting wider transitions.
Q8
Question:Can artificial intelligence make education more equal?
Model answer:It could help provide individualized feedback at lower cost, but unequal access and unreliable outputs may create new problems. Human guidance and evaluation should remain available.
Q9
Question:Is protecting privacy more important than scientific progress?
Model answer:Both goals matter. Researchers can often reduce the conflict through data minimization, controlled access and transparent procedures, rather than choosing complete secrecy or unrestricted publication.
Q10
Question:Should a country prioritize domestic issues over international aid?
Model answer:Governments must address domestic needs, but humanitarian assistance can prevent serious harm and support international stability. Decisions should consider urgency, evidence and available resources.
Q11
Question:What makes a public policy fair?
Model answer:Fairness involves more than offering identical treatment. Authorities should examine who benefits, who bears costs and whether disadvantaged groups can realistically use the service.
Q12
Question:Would compulsory voting improve democracy?
Model answer:It could increase turnout, but participation alone does not guarantee informed choices. Accessible registration and reliable civic information may also be important.
Q13
Question:Are carbon taxes an effective environmental policy?
Model answer:They can create incentives to reduce emissions, but their effects depend on design and enforcement. Targeted support may be needed where higher energy costs burden low-income households.
Q14
Question:Should museums digitize all of their collections?
Model answer:Digitization can improve access, but files also require accurate descriptions and long-term maintenance. I would prioritize materials based on their condition, research value and available resources.
Q15
Question:Do social media platforms have too much influence?
Model answer:They can shape which information reaches people, but influence varies across users and platforms. Greater transparency and stronger media literacy may help people evaluate content more critically.
Q16
Question:Should universities require internships?
Model answer:Practical experience can improve learning, but a rigid rule could disadvantage students with jobs or caring duties. Flexible, well-supervised options would be more equitable.
Q17
Question:Can public health campaigns change behavior by themselves?
Model answer:Clear information matters, but behavior is also shaped by cost, access and trust. Campaigns work better when they are combined with practical services and evaluated carefully.
Q18
Question:Should governments subsidize renewable energy?
Model answer:Support may help technologies develop, but subsidies should be reviewed against costs, benefits and changing market conditions. Transparent criteria can prevent indefinite assistance without evidence.
Q19
Question:Is international cooperation still useful when countries disagree?
Model answer:Yes. Even when governments hold conflicting positions, cooperation can address practical issues such as disease monitoring or environmental protection. Agreements need realistic objectives and accountability.
Q20
Question:What should the government do when experts disagree?
Model answer:Authorities should explain the competing evidence and uncertainties rather than pretend that a unanimous answer exists. Decisions can be reviewed as new information becomes available.

- 修正1:弱い回答「I agree because it is good.」/改善例「I support the proposal because it could reduce travel barriers for residents who cannot drive.」。
- 修正2:弱い回答「Education is very important.」/改善例「Public investment in teacher training could improve the quality of classroom feedback.」。
- 修正3:弱い回答「Technology can help people.」/改善例「Digital tools may help rural patients consult specialists without long journeys.」。
- 修正4:弱い回答「We should protect the environment.」/改善例「Clear waste-sorting rules could reduce the amount of recyclable material mixed with rubbish.」。
- 修正5:弱い回答「This has many advantages.」/改善例「The main advantages are easier access to information and lower travel costs.」。

- 修正8:弱い回答「It is convenient. It is easy.」/改善例「It can save time, while allowing residents with mobility difficulties to use the service more easily.」。
Students learn better.」/改善例「It provides frequent practice, while teachers can use feedback to identify individual misunderstandings.」。
- 修正10:弱い回答「It is safe. It prevents danger.」/改善例「It could improve early warnings, but officials must also ensure that residents understand the messages.」。
Every person will improve.」/改善例「Some residents may benefit, although access and outcomes could differ across groups.」。
- 修正12:弱い回答「I agree because society needs this.」/改善例「I support it because the existing service fails to reach certain users, and the proposal offers a practical alternative.」。
- 修正13:弱い回答「No, you are wrong.」/改善例「I understand the concern about costs, but access should also be part of the evaluation.」。
- 修正14:弱い回答「I have nothing to add.」/改善例「One important condition is whether the policy can be implemented fairly.」。
- 修正15:弱い回答「It always works.」/改善例「It can be effective in some circumstances, but results depend on implementation.」。
- 修正16:弱い回答「I don’t know anything about it.」/改善例「I cannot cite a specific study, but I can explain the general principle behind my view.」。
- 修正17:弱い回答「I changed my mind completely.」/改善例「I would keep my main position, while recognizing that exceptions may be necessary.」。
- 修正18:弱い回答「Because I said so.」/改善例「My reasoning is that the measure could lower the initial barrier to participation.」。
- 修正19:弱い回答「People can to use it.」/改善例「People can use it.」。
- 修正20:弱い回答「The policy make a difference.」/改善例「The policy makes a difference.」。
- 修正21:弱い回答「More easier access will help.」/改善例「Easier access could help.」。
- 修正22:弱い回答「I agree for the opinion.」/改善例「I agree with that opinion.」。
- 修正23:弱い回答「Can you say again?」/改善例「Could you repeat the question, please?」。
- 修正24:弱い回答「Let me speak from start.」/改善例「Let me explain that point more clearly.」。
