1. grant A permission / grant permission to A：許可する側の行為。The office granted the club permission.（事務室が部へ許可を与えた）。
2. obtain permission from A：申請側が許可を取得。apply for permissionは申請で、取得済みとは限らない。
3. renew a permit / renew permission：期限のある許可を更新する。自動更新の有無は個別の規則による。
4. revoke a permit / revoke approval：すでに存在する許可・承認を取り消す。申請を初めから拒否するrejectとは別。
