沖縄尚学附属中学校｜SPC・SCCと英語上級クラスを区別する

学校公式の附属中学校コース案内では、尚学パイオニアコース（SPC）・尚学チャレンジャーコース（SCC）の両方とも、中2までに中学校課程を終えて中3から高校課程に進みます。2025年度の「英検中2・3級以上」の学校公表達成率は84％です。ただしこれは当該年度の目標達成データであり、すべての中2生に準2級受験を義務づけるものではありません。現学年の具体的な授業配当・英検受験時期は学校の案内を確認してください。

なお英語上級クラス（EAC）は、学校公式の説明では英検2級相当以上の英語力と特定の英語使用経験等を対象とし、2月のEnglish Placement Testで編成されます。今回の準2級Reading教材はEACへの入級条件を満たすための教材ではなく、SPC・SCCの中1・中2に共通する希望者向けの自主学習資料です。

英検3級Readingと準2級Readingの違いを公式形式で確認

英検協会の準2級「試験内容」では、短文語句空所補充15問、会話文空所補充5問、長文語句空所補充2問、長文内容一致選択7問です。長文内容一致の題材はEメールや説明文。3級にも読解がありますが、準2級では語彙の抽象度が上がり、文脈の接続や理由を踏まえて判断する必要があります。この記事は形式の一部を応用した記述・選択の独自練習で、公式の出題数や配点を再現する模擬試験ではありません。

21日間の読解強化｜学校のテスト範囲を優先

1. 1〜4日目：1〜8の語彙を使って各1例文を作り、翌日見ずに再現する。正答の意味だけではなく前後関係を説明する。
2. 5〜8日目：9〜16の会話を声に出し、問いの種類を分類する。提案・理由・条件の読み違えを直す。
3. 9〜12日目：17〜24のhowever・therefore・unless・as long asなどを短文で使う。
4. 13〜17日目：25〜32の図書館の比較と、33〜40の科学調査を本文の根拠とともに答える。
5. 18〜20日目：問題1〜40から間違えた12問を解き直し、同じ単語を別の文脈に置いて確認する。
6. 21日目：初見の英検公式問題で現在の到達度を確認し、学校の定期テストが近い場合は学校指定の教材に戻る。

英検3級取得の有無だけで準2級合格を断定しません。学校英語と英検の文法・語彙が重なる部分は学校の教科書で定着させ、初見読解だけを補うと余計な学習負担を抑えられます。

長文2｜科学クラブと新しい調査（問題33〜40）

Their teacher suggested measuring the temperatures again in the morning and evening. The teacher also asked them to keep the type of thermometer the same.
