最初に終わったことと得点が高いことは別
She was the first to finish the test. は解き終わる順番だけを述べています。最初に退出したことから高得点・十分な理解・問題の易しさまで断定しないことが重要です。また She will be the first to finish はまだ起こっていないことへの予定や予測です。was / will be / is likely to be を必ず確認してください。
the only one to submit by fiveの『唯一』は範囲つき
5時までに唯一提出した人がいるとしても、5時30分に提出する人がいる可能性は残ります。only＋名詞＋to不定詞の唯一性は、後ろの行為に時間・場所・対象などの条件が付いていないか確認する必要があります。特に学校のEメール・案内・スケジュール読解で重要です。
能動・受動は不定詞の中で変わる
She was the first student to interview the researcher. では彼女が取材します。一方、She was the first student to be interviewed. では彼女が取材されます。to do と to be done を一語差で逆に読まないようにしてください。
the last person I would expect to …は文字通りの順番ではない
You’re the last person I’d expect to lie. は「あなたが嘘をつくとは一番考えにくい」という意味で、嘘をつく順番を述べているのではありません。慣用的な予想の低さを表す場合と、the last person to leave の時間的な最後を区別してください。

Fictional Student Presentation Day. The schedule listed three presentations for the afternoon. Aiko was the first student to speak, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Noah spoke next at 1:10 p.m., and Mina was the last to speak at 1:30 p.m. The supervising teacher recorded the order and the beginning times but did not publish any scores. Several students assumed that the first speaker had performed best, but the teacher explained that presentation order was assigned in advance and was not a ranking. The school intended to announce the results the following week. No official results were available when the report was written.

Fictional Research Club Document Submissions. Four students were asked to send a short document before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Yui was the only one to submit the document before the deadline. Two other students sent theirs on Thursday, and a fourth student had not submitted anything when the teacher checked the folder on Friday morning. A classmate said, “Yui was the only person to submit.” The teacher corrected the statement: “She was the only person to submit on time, but two others did submit later.” The distinction matters when a report summarizes both compliance with a deadline and the total number of submissions.

いいえ。最初に終えた順序のみを述べます。得点や正確性は本文の別の情報で確認します。
