concerned aboutとconcerned withの違い

心配しているのか、扱う主題なのかを主語で判断する
She is concerned about the test. では人が不安を抱いています。This report is concerned with the test. では報告書が試験をテーマにしています。ただしconcerned withが関与・懸念の含みを持つ文脈もあるため、常に機械的に訳さず前後の文を確認してください。
as far as I am concernedは筆者の意見
As far as I’m concerned, the evidence is weak. は話し手の判断を伝えます。資料が科学的に証明した事実や参加者全員の合意に変えてはいけません。As far as cost is concerned は費用という論点に範囲を限定しており、誰かの感想を示すとは限りません。
all concernedは全員が心配しているのではない
All concerned received an email. は「関係者全員がメールを受け取った」という意味です。Concerned parents は「心配している保護者」の意味になる場合が多く、concernedの位置と文脈に注意します。
規則が適用される範囲を本文で確認する
クラブに60人の会員がいても、変更の対象が16人なら The change concerns sixteen students. と書けます。その情報を「60人全員に影響した」と広げないことが重要です。Stage5のTrue / False / Not Givenでは、誰に関係するかの範囲が得点を左右します。

Fictional Reading Materials Survey. Thirty students participated in a survey about the way they accessed reading materials. The report was concerned with access to printed books, e-books and audio resources. Some parents were concerned about the privacy of the responses. The draft report had not yet verified whether every record was anonymous, so the editors did not promise complete anonymity. The writer explained that the report’s main topic and the parents’ concerns were different matters. The school planned to review the data-handling procedure before distributing any detailed findings.

Fictional Club Timetable Notice. A school club had sixty members in total. A timetable change concerned sixteen students who attended the Wednesday workshop. All concerned received an individual message, while the other members’ sessions remained unchanged. Some parents asked if the change affected the entire club. The organiser answered that it applied only to the sixteen students. The club chair added, “As far as I’m concerned, clarity matters more than speed.” The statement expressed the chair’s personal view; it did not show that every member agreed.
