平均・中央値の見つけ方
mean = total ÷ number of observations（合計÷個数）。median（中央値）は順序の中央、個数が偶数なら中央2値の平均です。mode（最頻値）は最も多く現れる値であり、平均とは別です。
五人の読書時間
Five students recorded how long they read after school: ten, twenty, twenty, thirty, and seventy minutes. Their teacher added the five numbers and divided the total by five. The mean reading time was thirty minutes. However, the middle number in the ordered list was twenty, so the median was twenty minutes. One student had read for much longer than the others. The teacher said that a mean of thirty minutes did not mean every student had read for thirty minutes.
