unfair/disagree/misread/rereadの違いを理解しましょう。

- un-:unhappy(幸せでない)、unfair(不公平)、unclear(不明確)。
- dis-:disagree(同意しない)、disappear(姿を消す)、disconnect(接続を切る)。
- mis-:misread(読み間違える)、misspell(綴りを誤る)、misunderstand(誤解する)。
- re-:reread(読み直す)、rewrite(書き直す)、recheck(再確認する)。
I misread the schedule.は日程を読み間違えた、I reread the schedule.

A fictional middle-school English club prepared a guide for visitors. On Monday, Yui misread the room number on a printed notice and wrote the wrong location on the first draft. Ken noticed that the information was unclear. The group decided to recheck the official school schedule rather than guess.
Another student had misspelled a teacher’s name. She apologised and rewrote the sentence. During the meeting, two volunteers disagreed about the best design for the map. Their teacher said that disagreement was not necessarily disrespect: students could offer different ideas while treating one another politely.
After the guide was corrected, a volunteer asked whether the group should reuse a clean sheet of paper for the final practice printout. The teacher agreed. The class also learned that the word uninterested meant lacking interest, while disinterested often described someone who was impartial rather than personally involved in a decision.
On Thursday, students reread their work and checked the sources one last time. They did not claim that their guide had prevented every possible visitor error. They wrote only that they had corrected specific spelling and room-number mistakes. The project helped them connect word parts with meanings while paying attention to the context.
- Q33. What did Yui do incorrectly on Monday?
- Q34. Why did the group recheck the official schedule?
- Q35. What did another student misspell?
- Q36. What did the students rewrite?
- Q37. Did the teacher say disagreement always meant disrespect?
- Q38. What material did the class consider reusing?
- Q39. Which word did they use for ‘not interested’?
- Q40. Did the class prove its guide prevented every visitor error?
