2分英語スピーチの作り方｜4段落の型
1．導入：Hello everyone. Today I want to talk about …のように話題を1文で示します。2．具体例：いつ・どこで・何をしたかなど、実際の場面を2〜4文で説明します。3．理由・経験：I like … because …、Last week …などで聞き手が想像できる情報を加えます。4．結論：I learned … / I want to … / Thank you for listening.で終えます。
ここで紹介する原稿はそれぞれ約127・122・122・132語です。『2分』は練習目標であり、実際の所要時間は発話速度・間・緊張によって変わります。学校から2分ちょうどと指定された場合は、自分で音読時間を測定し、内容が不自然にならないよう文数を調整してください。特に速く話そうとして発音が崩れる場合は、短い文を選び直す方がよいこともあります。
英語スピーチを暗記する前に確認する3つの基準
①内容が本人の実体験や意見と合っているか：原稿のまま発表するより、行った場所・好きなこと・自分の経験へ書き換えましょう。②学校で既習の英文法か：慣れない表現を多用するより、分かる文で自然に説明できることが重要です。③質問に答えられるか：いつ・どこ・なぜを聞かれて1〜2文で説明できれば、原稿理解を確かめられます。

スピーチ原稿を自分の内容に書き換える実用手順
第1日に原稿を音読して、すべての英文の主語と動詞を理解します。第2日に固有名詞・場所・曜日を自分の経験に合わせて変更します。第3日に「その経験がなぜ好きか」「何を学んだか」を1文ずつ追加します。第4日に声に出して時間を測り、長すぎれば重複情報を短くします。第5日に原稿を見ずに見出しだけで話し、第6日に誰かに質問してもらい、第7日に最終的に自然に話せるかを確認します。学校の発表日が近ければこの手順は短縮できます。
4題とも全英文を暗記する必要はありません。1題だけ選んで自分の内容へ直し、残りの題材は聞き取りや英問英答の教材として利用できます。全文を書いて覚えるだけではなく、最初の1文と最後の1文を確実にし、途中の3つの要点を覚えると内容を伝えやすくなります。
よくある質問
中1のStage1だけで2分の英語スピーチはできますか？
できる場合がありますが、既習単元・発話速度・学校の評価基準によって適切な長さや文法は異なります。この記事の原稿にはやや発展的な語があるため、まだ習っていない場合はやさしい英文へ置き換えてください。
原稿をそのまま発表してもよいですか？
練習用のオリジナル原稿として利用できますが、自分の好きな場所・活動・経験に書き換えると、質問にも答えやすくなります。学校で自作原稿が求められる場合は、その指示を守ってください。
発表時間が2分に足りない場合は？
同じ意味の英文を繰り返すより、具体例・理由・経験・聞き手への問いかけを1〜2文加えます。速度を無理に遅くすることより自然な区切りや発音の明瞭さを優先してください。
英語原稿の質疑応答で答えられなかったら？
Who・When・Where・Whyで聞かれそうな質問を先に作り、原稿にある事実を1文で答える練習をしてください。質問が聞き取れなければCould you say that again, please?のように聞き返す方法もあります。
