hundred・thousandの基本
100 one hundred、200 two hundred、1,000 one thousand、2,000 two thousand、10,000 ten thousand。150はone hundred fifty、1,500はone thousand five hundredです。英米でandを入れる位置には違いがあり、one hundred and fiveも自然ですが、まずは一貫した書き方で数の位を正確に覚えます。
two hundred books（200冊）のhundredは複数形にしません。一方、hundreds of books（何百冊もの本）のように不特定多数を表す場合はhundreds ofとします。具体的な数と概数は別の表現です。
