Writing Part 2

試験の文章ではContent(設問内容への対応)、Communicative Achievement(読者・目的に合う文体)、Organisation(展開と結び付き)、Language(語彙・文法)を意識します。

Q1: Students reading a school website.

Q2: I remember words by writing new sentences and checking them the next day.

Q3: I try using new words when I speak with friends.

Q4: If I learn the word suggest, I suggest an activity for our class.

Q5|模範記事: Small Steps for Learning New Words. Many students memorise long word lists, but I think using new words is more important. Every evening, I choose five words and write original sentences with them. The next day, I try to remember them without looking at my notebook. I also practise speaking with my friends. For example, if I learn the word suggest, I might suggest a new activity for our class. This gives me a real reason to use the word. My method does not take much time, but it helps me remember vocabulary and use it when I need it.

構成と内容の日本語解説:長い単語帳をただ覚えるのではなく、5語を自作文にし、翌日答えを隠して確認し、友人との会話でも使う方法を説明。 設問に答える内容が両方含まれ、例示と結論まで自然に展開しています。

Article 2|科学館への校外学習(模範100語・見出しを含む)

Q6: Students who read a school magazine.

Q7: I would like to go to a science museum.

Q8: I would go with classmates because we could share questions and ideas.

Q9: We could try experiments and discuss them on the journey home.

Q10|模範記事: A Day at a Science Museum. I would love to visit a science museum on our next school trip. I enjoy finding out how things work, and museums often have activities that students can try themselves. I would go with my classmates because we could ask each other questions and share interesting ideas. During the visit, we could choose one experiment to study carefully and write down what we learned. On the journey home, we could compare our notes and discuss our favourite parts. The trip would be exciting, but it would also help us understand science beyond our textbooks.

構成と内容の日本語解説:科学館に行きたい理由、同行するクラスメートとの学び合い、実験を選んで記録する体験を紹介。 設問に答える内容が両方含まれ、例示と結論まで自然に展開しています。

Article 3|タブレットと紙のノート(模範98語・見出しを含む)

Q11: Readers of a school blog interested in study tools.

Q12: A tablet is useful for videos and finding information.

Q13: A notebook is better for practising writing without automatic suggestions.

Q14: I watched a science video and then wrote a summary by hand.

Q15|模範記事: Choosing Study Tools Carefully. Tablets can be very useful when I want to watch a short explanation or look up information quickly. However, I prefer using a notebook for some English exercises. Writing sentences by hand helps me notice small grammar mistakes without automatic suggestions. Last month, I watched a video about plants and then wrote a short summary in my notebook. I found two mistakes and corrected them myself. Both tools helped, but in different ways. I think students should choose tools that help them understand the subject, not simply finish their homework as quickly as possible.

構成と内容の日本語解説:タブレットで情報や動画を見て、紙のノートで自力の英文を書くという使い分けを説明。 設問に答える内容が両方含まれ、例示と結論まで自然に展開しています。

Article 4|食品ロスを減らす学校活動(模範100語・見出しを含む)

Q16: Teenagers reading an environment website.

Q17: Our school could measure leftover food once a week.

Q18: Students could record the results and share ideas.

Q19: Classes could try smaller portions and compare the amount left over.

Q20|模範記事: A Food Waste Project at School. Our school could start a simple project to reduce food waste at lunchtime. Once a week, students could record the amount of food left after lunch and share the results with other classes. Then we could discuss ways to improve the situation, such as serving smaller portions when students are not very hungry. This project would not need expensive equipment, but it could help everyone think about how we use food. We should also ask students why food is left over. Understanding the reasons would help us find better solutions instead of blaming anyone.

構成と内容の日本語解説:食べ残しの量を記録して理由を考え、少量提供などの改善案を考える学校活動を説明。 設問に答える内容が両方含まれ、例示と結論まで自然に展開しています。

Story 1|古いノートの紙片(模範100語)

Q21: When Rina opened the old notebook, she noticed a message on the first page.

Q22: The note asked someone to return a lost blue book.

Q23: She asked the librarian to help her find the owner.

Q24: The librarian found the owner and Rina returned the book.

Q25|模範物語: When Rina opened the old notebook, she noticed a message on the first page. It said, Please return the blue book to the library. Rina looked around, but she could not see a blue book anywhere. The next morning, she asked the librarian for help. The librarian remembered a student who had reported losing a book a week earlier. Together, they checked a box behind the desk and found it. The student’s name was written inside the cover. Rina gave the book back to its owner and explained where she had found the note. The student smiled and thanked her.

構成と内容の日本語解説:ノートのメモから青い本の持ち主を探し、司書の助けで返却する物語。 冒頭の人物・時制を保ったまま、行動が結末につながります。

Story 2|予想外のバス停(模範99語)

Q26: The bus stopped earlier than anyone expected.

Q27: A fallen tree blocked the road to a school concert.

Q28: A teacher found a nearby station and guided everyone there.

Q29: The group reached the concert safely using another bus.

Q30|模範物語: The bus stopped earlier than anyone expected. The driver told the passengers that a fallen tree was blocking the road ahead. Everyone looked worried because they were going to a school concert. A teacher who was travelling with the group checked a map and found a station only ten minutes away. The students took their bags and followed her along the pavement. At the station, they caught another bus and reached the concert hall just before the music began. They were tired, but nobody was hurt. Later, the students thanked the driver for choosing a safe place to stop.

構成と内容の日本語解説:倒木による道路封鎖でバスが止まり、別ルートで安全にコンサートへ向かう物語。 冒頭の人物・時制を保ったまま、行動が結末につながります。

Story 3|図書室で見つけた小さな鍵(模範102語)

Q31: Taro was surprised to find a small key beside the library door.

Q32: He did not know who owned the key.

Q33: He gave it to a teacher rather than using it himself.

Q34: The teacher confirmed the owner and returned the key.

Q35|模範物語: Taro was surprised to find a small key beside the library door. At first, he wondered whether it belonged to an old cabinet near the window. However, he decided not to try it without permission. He took the key to a teacher, who made an announcement after lunch. A student soon arrived and explained that the key belonged to a small music case. The student showed a matching key ring, so the teacher returned it. Taro was glad that he had asked for help. He learned that finding an unusual object did not mean he should use it without knowing the owner.

構成と内容の日本語解説:勝手に鍵を使わず、教師へ届けて持ち主を確認する物語。 冒頭の人物・時制を保ったまま、行動が結末につながります。

Story 4|地域センターでの再会(模範102語)

Q36: As Mei walked into the community centre, she heard someone calling her name.

Q37: An old neighbour needed new volunteers for a reading event.

Q38: Mei invited two classmates to help her read to young children.

Q39: The children enjoyed the stories and Mei promised to help again.

Q40|模範物語: As Mei walked into the community centre, she heard someone calling her name. She turned around and saw her former neighbour, Mrs Brown, standing beside a table of books. Mrs Brown was preparing a reading event for young children, but two volunteers had become ill. Mei wanted to help, although she had never read English stories to young children before. She called two classmates, and they arrived after lunch. Together, they chose easy books and practised reading clearly. The children enjoyed the pictures and asked many questions. At the end of the afternoon, Mrs Brown thanked everyone, and Mei promised to return.
