解答前にする4つの確認
- 必要な語数は上限・下限・ちょうどのどれか確認する。
- 文数の指定がある場合は語数と混同しない。

- 文法・内容を修正したあと、最後に指定の方法で数え直す。

No more than five：5語以内
Fictional test rule: ‘Answer in no more than five words.’ Ken first writes ‘I read English books every night.’ He then shortens it to ‘I read books every night.’ Each word is counted by spaces.

Two complete sentences：文数の指定
Fictional assignment: ‘Write TWO complete sentences about Aya.’ Model: ‘Aya likes English. She studies daily.’ The teacher counts two sentences, even though the entire response has six words.

- Is the model one sentence merely because it describes the same person?

Don’tは一語とするローカルルール
Fictional teacher rule: ‘For this test, a contraction such as don’t counts as one word.’ Model A: ‘I don’t like noisy rooms.’ Model B: ‘I do not like noisy rooms.’ Both are grammatical, but the word counts differ under the rule.

Title excluded：題名は数えない
