結論：英検3級の道案内長文では、①出発地点、②曲がる目印、③何番目の角か、④道路のどちら側か、⑤通れない経路や例外を順番に整理することが重要です。最初の角と2つ目の角を混同したり、found atとgo pastなどの前置詞を読み落としたりしないよう、独自の4ルート・計24問で練習します。
対象は英検3級に挑戦する中高一貫校の中1〜中3です。各ルートは架空の町を使ったオリジナルの説明文であり、英検協会の過去問や実際の道路情報ではありません。地図がなくても、文章中の目印と順番を指でなぞる学習用資料です。

ルート1の和訳
中央駅からグリーン通りをまっすぐ進み、小さな書店が見えるまで歩きます。書店で左折します。右側の銀行を通り過ぎます。町の図書館は右側の次の建物で、小さな公園の手前です。駅から図書館まで約6分かかります。書店の1区画手前にあるパン屋では曲がらないでください。
ルート2の和訳
