英文要約で『80〜100人と予想された』ことと『実際に93人が登録した』ことは違います。estimated range（推定区間）とactual count（実際に数えた値）を区別し、予測が当たったことを「すべての将来予測が正しい」と一般化しないようにしましょう。ある値が範囲に含まれるかは計算できますが、その原因や保証は別の問題です。
対象と学習目標：英検準2級プラス〜1級で英文要約を学ぶ中高生。情報源、限定、数値の精度を保ち、原文の主旨を短い英文にまとめる級横断のオリジナル教材です。
データについて：全ての学校・町・人物・数値・調査は学習のための架空事例です。公式過去問や実在の統計から転載していません。
最初に理解する4つの要点
- estimated / forecast は予測であり、確認済みの実数ではない。
- a range from X to Y はXからYまでの範囲で、一点の確定値とは異なる。
- actual / recorded はその時点で集計・記録された値。何を数えたかを確認する。
- ±N などの表記は文脈で意味が異なるが、単純な許容幅なら中心値−Nから中心値＋Nを示す。

The organizers counted exactly one hundred attendees because they forecast eighty to one hundred.
改善した英文：

理由：予測範囲に100が含まれていても、実績が100だったとは言えません。
