英検準2級プラスのReadingでは、「Aに加えてBもした」のか「Aの代わりにBを選んだ」のかを取り違えると、内容一致で失点します。not only A but also B と as well as は追加、instead of と rather than は代替・選択の関係を表します。慶英会の独自4長文24課題で、本文の事実と選択肢を照合します。

対象は英検準2級合格後に準2級プラスの長文内容一致が難しい中高生。本教材は公式過去問を再現したものではありません。

4長文の解き方

  1. 追加されたものと選ばれなかったものに別の印を付ける。
  2. 4択の本文根拠を確かめる。

  4. 説明文全体を和訳して条件・時点を確認する。

独自長文1｜図書館のオンライン更新と窓口

Eastside Library introduced online book renewal instead of extending the hours of its service counter. Members may renew eligible books online, but books reserved by others cannot be renewed this way. The library kept telephone support as well as the service counter. Rather than requiring every visitor to use a smartphone, staff explain how to renew books using a computer at the library.
