英検準2級プラスのリスニングで、話し手がSorry, I meant …（言い間違えました）、Let me correct that（訂正します）と言ったら、最初の情報をそのまま答えにしないようにしましょう。人数・日付・時刻・担当者・金額などの訂正を聞き取る慶英会独自8会話24問です。

対象：英検準2級プラスListeningで、似た数字や後半に出る訂正を聞き逃す中高生。本教材に音声ファイルはありません。家族・講師、または端末の読み上げを使って英文を1回聞いてから、台本・全訳・正答根拠を確認してください。登場する日程・施設・料金は架空の設定です。

訂正の手掛かり

表現意味
Sorry, I meant …すみません、言いたかったのは…
Let me correct that.その点を訂正します
I mixed up ……を取り違えました
only … has changed変わったのは…だけです
still / remains現在も変わらない情報

訂正された項目が時刻だけなら曜日や会場は変わっていないこともあります。何が訂正され、何が維持されたかを別に整理しましょう。

24問の練習

  1. 設問で「最初の情報」「訂正後の情報」のどちらを尋ねるか確認する。
  2. 会話を一度聞き、正答を選ぶ。
  3. 台本を読み、訂正句の後の情報に下線を引く。

誤答の原因を整理

13ドルと30ドル、8時15分と7時50分のように似ている数字は、最初に聞こえた音を覚えたまま選ばないようにします。訂正後の最終情報を確認します。一方、What did A first believe?など最初の認識を問う問題には、訂正前の情報を答える必要があります。
