【2026年度の二次試験・持ち物に関する重要変更】日本英語検定協会は2026年度第1回検定から、英検3級以上の対象試験（従来型の一次・二次公開会場、英検S-CBT、S-Interview）で、協会が認める有効期限内の顔写真付き身分証明書の原本を必須としています。学生証・生徒手帳は顔写真などの条件を確認し、画像やコピー、電子学生証では代用できません。当日忘れた場合、試験開始前の会場での所定手続きと、試験翌々日午前9時30分（日本時間）までの提出が必要です。本人確認が完了しない場合は成績が無効となります。英検協会の公式案内・対象試験と身分証一覧を受験前に確認してください。

準2級プラスの二次面接：何分・何問か
2026年10月9日に確認した日本英語検定協会の公式説明では、面接は約7分、音読するパッセージは55語程度です。No.1はパッセージの内容、No.2は3コマのイラストの展開、No.3とNo.4は自分の意見などを述べる質問です。音読前の黙読は20秒、No.2の考慮時間も20秒です。公式の詳細は準2級プラスの試験内容で確認できます。
準2級・準2級プラス・2級の面接の違い
準2級は約6分で、50語程度の音読に続いてNo.1〜No.5の5問があります。No.2とNo.3はイラストを使う課題です。一方、準2級プラスは約7分で55語程度の音読とNo.1〜4の4問、No.2では3コマ説明が求められます。2級も約7分・4問・3コマ説明という枠組みですが、パッセージは60語程度で、扱う話題・求められる英語力は級に応じて異なります。したがって、準2級プラスの試験を準2級と同じだと思い込まず、3コマを時系列で話す練習を行いましょう。
No.2の3コマ説明を20秒で整理する方法
①最初のコマで登場人物・目的を把握する。②次のコマで何が起こったかを把握する。③最後のコマで結果を把握する。答える際はThen、After that、However、Soなどを必要に応じて使用し、過去の出来事なら過去形で話します。公式の実際の問題カードには言い出しの英文が印刷されるため、それに自然につながるように説明します。

以下のストーリーは画像を使わず、各コマの状況を文章で示した独自練習です。各話の英語説明例は40〜44語程度の短いモデルであり、出題されるイラストの展開や本番の模範的な発話量を保証するものではありません。公式の3コマ画像や模範解答を転載したものではありません。場面を英語で順番に説明できるか確かめましょう。本番に近い視覚問題は英検協会のサンプルカードを別途利用してください。
3コマ演習1：地域の料理教室

①1コマ目だけを詳しく話して時間がなくなる。→3コマすべての要点を準備する。②話の順番を入れ替える。→ThenやAfter thatで時系列を維持する。③絵から分からない情報を断定する。→人物の行動と結果を中心に説明する。④すべて現在形で話す。→文脈が過去なら過去形を使う。⑤難しい単語が思い出せず沈黙する。→知っている語句で意味を簡潔に言い換える。
意見問題での改善ポイント
Yes / Noの選択自体より、質問に合う理由を述べられるかが大切です。例えば公共図書館について聞かれたら「静かに勉強できる」「無料で本を借りられる」など対象に合う具体的な説明を使います。It is good.だけでは情報が乏しいため、who（誰に）・how（どのように）を加えると説明しやすくなります。
練習用の自己チェック
①No.1の答えが本文と一致する。②No.2で3コマすべての展開を説明する。③時系列の接続語が自然。④No.3・4で質問に直接答える。⑤意味が伝わる語彙・文法で話す。⑥聞き取りやすい声で話す。家庭学習の録音で確認できますが、実際の面接会場での録音・撮影は禁止されています。
