中高一貫校の中2・中3、高1を中心とする英検準2級学習者向けです。これは慶英会が独自に制作した語法・文法の練習教材で、英検協会の公式過去問ではありません。まず例文で意味と語順を確認し、20問は解答を隠して取り組みましょう。

復習の優先順位
物語文ではat firstが「その後の変化」の伏線、for the first timeが「初経験」を示す手がかりになります。どちらも日本語で「最初」と訳される場合があるため、後ろにbut/laterなどの転換があるか、初体験の情報があるかで判断してください。
1日目は例文と前半10問、2日目は後半10問、3日目は全文和訳、4日目は誤文訂正、5日目は20問の再テスト、6日目は間違えた英文を5回音読、7日目は同じ文型で自分の学校生活について英文5つを書く、という7日間を基本にします。18〜20問なら長文・英作文へ、14〜17問なら該当表現を、13問以下ならルール表から復習してください（慶英会の学習目安で英検の合否判定ではありません）。
よくある質問
firstとfirst of allはいつでも置き換えられますか？
説明・手順では重なる場合がありますが、the first studentやcame firstのような序数・順位ではfirst of allに置き換えられません。
at firstは必ずbutが必要ですか？
必須ではありません。ただし「初めは」という表現のため、その後の変化を含む文脈でよく使われます。
