本教材の通知・地図・研究・施設はすべて慶英会による架空設定です。公式英検過去問の再録ではありません。準1級Readingは短文語句空所18問、長文空所6問、内容一致7問を4肢選択で解きます。本教材では各長文に4択5問・追加記述5問を設定しました。
どの通知を優先するか：3つの判断基準
①最新の公式発表が何を訂正したかを特定する。②新しい通知に変更の記載がない条件は、旧通知のうち有効な内容として残り得る。③撤回された主張と残された観測事実を区別する。新聞・第三者ブログの見出しよりも、本文で説明された正式発表・根拠を優先してください。
解答前の読み方
文章を最初から読んで、日付と発信者に印を付けます。『proposed』『approved』『corrected』『postponed』『withdrawn』『unchanged』を表に整理し、最後にどの情報が有効か判断します。次の問題は公式過去問と同じ4択形式に加え、理解を深める英語での根拠説明を付けた独自教材です。
独自長文1｜図書館の夜間開放｜草案・訂正・実施延期
英文・第1段落
On Monday, a town library released a preliminary notice saying that it hoped to open its study room until eight o’clock every weekday beginning the following week. The notice clearly described this as a proposal, but a neighborhood website published a short summary that treated the daily opening hours as a confirmed plan. Some students consequently changed their study schedules.
