For example, a city could …

For example, a school could …

TOPIC1|Should local governments encourage more neighborhood walking groups?

POINTS:Health / Community / Safety / Costs。

慶英会のモデル(133語):I believe local governments should encourage neighborhood walking groups, provided that participants can join safely. First, regular walking may support public health by giving residents a simple opportunity to be active. For example, a community center could arrange short guided walks on accessible routes for people who want to exercise with others. Second, these activities could strengthen local connections. Residents of different ages might meet people they rarely speak with and learn more about nearby services. However, officials should not assume that walking groups will benefit everyone equally. Some people have mobility difficulties, and routes need suitable surfaces, rest areas, and clear information. Towns should therefore begin with small activities and ask participants what worked well. For these reasons, I support walking programs that respond to local needs and remain easy to maintain.

TOPIC2|Should schools offer more lessons about verifying online claims?

POINTS:Education / Technology / Responsibility / Time。

慶英会のモデル(127語):I think schools should teach students how to verify claims they encounter online. First, this could improve education by helping learners distinguish evidence from opinion. For instance, students could compare two short reports and check whether their dates, sources, and conclusions are consistent. Second, these skills may encourage more responsible communication. Someone who checks a claim before sharing it is less likely to spread an unsupported statement without noticing the problem. Nevertheless, teachers should not assume that using more websites always leads to accurate conclusions. Students need guidance about which sources are credible and what remains uncertain. Verification activities could be incorporated into existing lessons so that they do not create an excessive workload. I therefore support practical information-checking lessons that develop careful thinking and responsible habits.

TOPIC3|Should shops provide clearer information about product returns?

POINTS:Consumer rights / Costs / Trust / Technology。

慶英会のモデル(129語):I believe shops should explain product return policies more clearly. First, accurate information can protect consumers from misunderstandings. If customers know the deadline and conditions before buying, they can make more informed decisions. For example, a shop could display a short summary of its return rules near the checkout and provide detailed information online. Second, clearer policies may improve trust between businesses and customers. People who understand how a problem will be handled may feel more confident about using a service again. However, shops must also explain legitimate exceptions, such as hygiene or safety restrictions, rather than promise that every item can be returned. The goal should be fair and understandable procedures, not unlimited refunds. For these reasons, I support clear return information that benefits customers and businesses alike.

For example, a city could …
