Only Room B has a printer. 選択肢A:Room B has a printer, but Room A does not. 選択肢B:Both rooms have printers available for all students. 主語と否定だけ取り出すと、Aは「Bだけ」、Bは「両方」で、本文に合うのはAです。日本語訳が似ていても、onlyとbothの違いは残してください。

The school will provide lunch, while students must bring a notebook and their school ID. Photographs are permitted in the lobby but prohibited inside the special exhibition. Consent forms must reach the teachers by Monday at 5:00 p.m., including forms from students who registered online earlier. The special exhibition closes at 3:00 p.m.; the public galleries close at 4:00 p.m.
問9:Which day is the museum visit actually scheduled for?

- B:Wednesday, because the original Tuesday plan was replaced by a newer arrangement.
問10:Where and when must students meet?

問14:Who must submit consent forms?

3.読書室の延長案|アンケートと未承認の試行
The student council surveyed one hundred students about extending the reading room’s hours. Sixty-two supported later opening hours, twenty-four opposed the change, and fourteen were undecided. The room currently closes at 5:00 p.m. The council proposed a four-week trial in which the room would remain open until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The head teacher confirmed that the room could be used during those hours, but the school has not approved the trial because the additional staffing costs have not been calculated. The survey measured students’ preferences, not whether longer hours would improve their grades. The council plans to collect more information next week.
問17:What did the survey investigate?
- A:Whether extending opening hours would improve students’ examination scores in later terms.
- B:Whether students wanted the reading room to remain open later than it currently does.
問18:How many students supported later hours?
- A:Sixty-two out of one hundred students expressed support for opening the room later.
- B:Twenty-four out of one hundred students expressed support, while the others were opposed.
問19:What is the reading room’s current closing time?
- A:Seven in the evening on every Tuesday and Thursday, because the council’s proposal is already active.
- B:Five in the afternoon, because the proposed later closing time has not been approved.
問20:How long would the council’s proposed trial last?
- A:Four weeks, with later opening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays if approved.
- B:Two weeks, with later opening hours every weekday if approved.
問21:What has the head teacher confirmed?
- A:That the school has formally approved the four-week trial and will employ extra staff.
- B:That the room could be used during the proposed hours, not that the trial itself is approved.
問22:Why has the trial not yet been approved?
- A:The additional staffing costs have not yet been calculated by the school.
- B:The room is too small for any students to use during the proposed hours.
問23:What can the survey results prove?
- A:That opening the room later will certainly improve students’ grades during the trial.
- B:That students expressed different preferences about the hours, not that grades would improve.
問24:What will the council do next week?
- A:Collect more information before the school decides whether the proposed trial should go ahead.
- B:Begin the already-approved four-week trial without asking the school for permission.
4.ロボット講座|年齢・料金・締切・定員
A robotics workshop will take place on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 201. The workshop is open to students aged 12 to 15. Students aged 12 must attend with an adult, but students aged 13 to 15 may attend alone. School members can join free of charge, while other visitors pay 300 yen. Everyone must complete online registration by Thursday at noon. Late registrations are not accepted, even if seats remain. There are only twenty seats, so submitting the form does not guarantee a place. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email. Students should bring a notebook, but tools will be provided. Rain will not affect the schedule because the workshop is indoors.
問25:Who may take part in the workshop?
- A:Any student who is younger than twelve, as long as that student arrives with an adult.
- B:Students aged twelve to fifteen, with an accompanying adult required for those aged twelve.
問26:May a thirteen-year-old attend alone?
- A:Yes, because students from thirteen through fifteen are allowed to attend without an adult.
- B:No, because every participant under sixteen must have an adult present at all times.
問27:How much must a visiting nonmember pay?
- A:Nothing, since the workshop is free of charge for every participant.
- B:Three hundred yen, whereas school members are allowed to take part for free.
問28:When must applicants register?
- A:By Thursday at noon, even though the actual workshop takes place on Saturday.
- B:By Saturday at ten in the morning, just before the workshop is scheduled to begin.
問29:Can someone register after the deadline if seats are still available?
- A:Yes, because the deadline is flexible whenever fewer than twenty people register.
- B:No, because late registrations are rejected even when there are seats left.
問30:Does submitting an online form guarantee attendance?
- A:No, because the class has a limit of twenty seats and only confirmed applicants can attend.
- B:Yes, because every completed online form is automatically treated as a confirmed booking.
問31:Which item should students bring?
- A:All the tools needed for the workshop, while notebooks will be supplied at the venue.
- B:A notebook, while the tools required for the activities will be provided.
問32:Will rain change the schedule?
- A:No, because the robotics workshop is held indoors and is not affected by rain.
- B:Yes, because every Saturday activity must move to Sunday when it rains.
