a.m.は午前、p.m.は午後の時刻を表します。午後1時20分を24時間表記にすると13:20です。12:00の近辺は混同しやすいため、学習用の案内では12 noon（正午）・12 midnight（真夜中）または24時間表記を使うと明確です。会場・国・サービスにより時刻表記が異なる場合があるため、実際の予約や交通では必ず提供者の案内を確認してください。

morningやeveningには共通の厳密な境界時刻がない
morningは朝・午前、afternoonは午後、eveningは夕方から夜にかけて、nightは夜を表します。ただし日常会話のmorningやeveningが何時から何時までかは文脈によって変わります。予定表で必要なのはa.m. / p.m.など具体的な時刻を優先して読むことです。
at sevenとin the eveningの違い
The class starts at seven.では具体的な時刻、The class is in the evening.では大まかな時間帯を表します。at noon / at night、in the morning / in the afternoonも短いまとまりで覚えましょう。
last busとfirst busを混同しない
The first bus is at seven forty-five in the morning.は最初の便、The last bus is at seven in the evening.は最終便です。時刻の数値だけでなくfirst / lastを確認してください。
