日本英語検定協会の英検5級Can-doリストは、日常の短い案内から必要な情報を読み取ることを学習目標に示しています。ただし、5級の正式なReadingは短文語句空所補充15問・会話文空所補充5問・語句整序5問であり、本記事のような長い施設案内の独立大問が5級にあるわけではありません。出題形式は日本英語検定協会の公式ページで確認できます。施設名・料金・規則はすべて架空です。

openとclosedは単に反対語を覚えるだけでは不十分
OPEN Monday to FridayとCLOSED Sundayが並んだ場合、月〜金と日曜では利用可否が違います。土曜の案内が別にあれば、土曜だけ営業時間が短いこともあります。曜日→開館・休館→開始・終了時刻という順で表に整理すると取り違えが減ります。
last entryとclosing timeは別の時刻
Last entry at four.／Closes at four thirty.なら、最終入場は16時、閉館は16時30分です。どちらも午後に関する時刻ですが、何を尋ねる質問かで答えは変わります。
No flash photographyはすべての写真の禁止と同じではない
No flash photographyはフラッシュを使う撮影を禁じる表現です。文面にNo photographyとある場合とは範囲が異なります。実際の施設では館内の最新ルールに従ってください。
