過去形の長文で曜日と行動を対応させる
went＝goの過去形、bought＝buyの過去形、gave＝giveの過去形、finished＝終えた、planned to＝〜する予定だった、instead＝代わりに、actually＝実際には、because＝〜なので、after that＝その後、と理解します。
まず『土曜』『日曜』『翌週』の3つに分け、人物と動作を整理します。例えば『サッカーをする予定だったが大雨で中止になり本を読んだ』なら、実際の行動は読書です。元の出発時刻を問う設問と実際の時刻を問う設問は答えが違います。

Original English Story：SUNDAY PLAN — YUI’S JOURNAL (fictional). Yui wrote her Sunday plan on Saturday evening. She wanted to meet Hana at the park at 10:00 a.m. and visit an outdoor market at 11:00. On Sunday morning, the park was closed because of strong wind. Hana sent Yui a message at 8:30 and suggested the town museum instead. They met at the museum entrance at 10:30 and bought student tickets for 300 yen each. They saw a picture exhibition, then ate lunch in the cafe at noon.
