postcard＝絵葉書、stay with my aunt＝おばの家に滞在する、arrive＝到着する、yesterday＝昨日、tomorrow＝明日、instead＝代わりに、take a bus＝バスに乗る、return home＝帰宅する、because＝〜だから、と理解します。

人物が『行こうと思った』ことと『実際に行った』場所は違うことがあります。例えば水が冷たいため泳がなかった場合、泳いだと答えてはいけません。また、博物館の閉館は午後5時でも、本人が実際に出たのは3時30分ということがあります。
