Let’s・Shall we・Why don’t we・How aboutの違い
Let’s go.（行きましょう）＝Let’s＋動詞原形。否定はLet’s not go.（行かないようにしよう）。
Shall we go?（行きましょうか）＝Shall we＋動詞原形。
Why don’t we go?（行きませんか）＝Why don’t we＋動詞原形。
How about going?（行くのはどう？）＝How about＋動詞-ing。How about a walk?のように名詞も続けられます。
提案の表現は言い換えられることが多く、必ずしも一つしか自然な言い方がないわけではありません。英検の空所補充では、文の形・語順・後ろの動詞形・返答が手掛かりです。返答は賛成ならThat sounds good.／Yes, let’s.、断るならSorry, I can’t.＋理由。Let’s play.に対するYes, I do.は文脈上通常不自然です。

よくある質問
How aboutの後ろは動詞の原形ですか。
いいえ。How about playing tennis?のように動詞-ingを使います。名詞を直接続けるHow about a movie?も自然です。
Let’s not goとDon’t let’s goはどちらがよいですか。
現代の一般的な英語学習ではLet’s not go.を基本形として覚えるのが適切です。否定はLet’s not＋原形で練習しましょう。
Shall weとWhy don’t weは同じですか。
どちらも提案に使えます。Shall we …?は一緒に行動することを提案・確認する表現、Why don’t we …?は「〜しませんか」と提案する表現です。場面によって言い換え可能です。
