英検2級の予約・変更のEメールは、「申し込んだ」「承認された」「支払った」「変更を希望した」「キャンセルが受理された」を分けると、条件を読み落としにくくなります。単語の意味だけでなく、誰が、いつまでに、何を済ませる必要があるかを確認しましょう。本記事は慶英会独自の4長文・4択40問です。予約確定、振替、キャンセル待ち、返金の4場面で、全選択肢の解説と全文和訳まで学習できます。

本文に登場する施設・料金・規則は、読解練習のための架空の設定です。実在施設や英検の申込・キャンセル規則を示すものではありません。英検協会の公式過去問ではなく、条件を読む力を鍛える集中教材としてご利用ください。

予約・変更の英文は5項目を分けて読む

例えば「48時間以上前に申請できる」と書いてあっても、その後に「空きがある場合」とあれば、早く申し込んだだけで承認されるとは限りません。反対に、本文が明確に承認を伝えているのに、いつまでも申請中だと考えるのも誤りです。状態を変える通知や手続きを、読み進めるたびに更新してください。

Green Hall charges 20,000 yen for the booking described here. This total includes the 2,000-yen deposit already paid; the deposit is not added again when a refund is calculated. The group has now paid the full 20,000 yen.

Submit cancellation requests through our online system. A cancellation becomes effective when the system records the completed request, not when you begin typing or save an unfinished form. The refund depends on the time remaining before the event starts.

If we receive the cancellation at least 168 hours before the start, we refund the full fee. If we receive it at least 72 hours but less than 168 hours before the start, we refund half. If fewer than 72 hours remain, no refund is given. Thus, a cancellation received five days before the event qualifies for a 10,000-yen refund.

There is an exception when Green Hall cancels because of an equipment failure. In that case, the group may choose a full refund or another available date, even if fewer than 72 hours remain. We will not change the date without the group’s agreement. Keep the system’s receipt email, which shows when the cancellation was recorded.
