結論
ensureは結果を確実にするための措置、assureは人に確信を伝える、secureは席や許可などを確保する、guaranteeは結果や品質などを保証すると約束する表現です。保証を口にしたことと、実際に成果が出たことは同じではありません。中3の読解・英作文で意味と目的語を確認します。

4つの語法・意味の原則
1. ensure that … / ensure safety：結果を確実にする措置を講じる。チェックするという行為だけでは完全な成功を保証しない。
2. assure A that …：人Aに確信を伝える。The organizer assured us that the notice had been sent.（送信済みと請け合った）。
3. secure a place / secure permission：必要な席・許可・資源などを確保する。ensure a placeと一部重なるがsecureは確保行為に焦点。
4. guarantee that … / guarantee a refund：結果や条件を保証すると明言する。保証の有無と保証条件・実際の結果を区別する。
