学校とケンブリッジ英検の公式情報

• 学校公式は2022年度から学校全体でケンブリッジ英検を導入し、4技能を測ると説明。各学年が受験するCEFRレベルは当年度の案内で確認する
• 英語教育ページでは中1から英会話、学校全体のスピーチ・プレゼン・ディベート、洋書の多読、Cambridge出版教材を紹介
• Cambridge English公式はB1 Preliminary for Schools Writingを2部構成と案内。Part 1はメールへの返信で約100語、Part 2は記事または物語から1題を選び約100語
• 採点では内容、読み手への伝わり方、構成、言語の正確さ・幅を確認。実際の採点ルーブリックは公式資料を正本とする

B1と実用英検を混同しない

Cambridge EnglishのB1 Preliminaryと日本英語検定協会の英検3級・準2級・2級は、別の試験体系です。英検準2級のEメールは40〜50語で質問を2つ返す形式ですが、ここで練習するB1 Preliminary Writing Part 1とは語数・目的・メモへの対応が異なります。学校の受検案内で試験名とレベルを確かめてから教材を使ってください。

失点を防ぐ4つのWriting手順

• Emailでは相手が求めた要点を一つずつ拾い、丁寧すぎず友人に自然な文体で答える
• Articleは題名・主題・理由・実践の具体例・結びの順に整理する
• Storyは指定された冒頭文・登場人物・問題・変化・結末をつなぎ、過去形を基本に時系列を維持する
• 約100語の中で要件を落とさないことを優先し、書いた後は読み手・時制・代名詞・接続詞を点検する

4週間の家庭学習

• 第1週：メールで求められる要点と質問を取り出し、短い回答文を作る
• 第2週：メールの4要点を自然な順序で100語前後にまとめ、語数と文体を確認する
