英作文で「とても便利だ」はso convenient、「とても便利な道具だ」はsuch a convenient toolと書きます。soは形容詞・副詞の程度を、suchは名詞句の性質を強めます。so many books、so much adviceのように数量を示す形もあります。程度を強調するだけで未確認の成果を断定しないことも大切です。
対象：英検3級から1級の英作文・中高一貫校生の英文法。以下は慶英会が独自制作した架空場面で、公式問題の転載ではありません。
語順の基本4原則
1. so＋形容詞・副詞：so useful / so quicklyなど。so a useful toolは通常不自然。 2. such a/an＋形容詞＋単数可算名詞：such a useful tool。複数名詞・不可算名詞はsuch useful tools / such useful advice。 3. so many＋可算複数名詞、so much＋不可算名詞：so much feedbackなど。 4. so…that / such…thatでは結果を明示する。実際に測定していない結果を付け加えない。

独自英文：
At a fictional school, fifteen volunteers tried an English vocabulary app. Ten said its menu was convenient for home study, and the teacher described it as a useful tool. No examination-score comparison had been conducted. The app was optional, and students could still practise with printed cards.
全文和訳：架空の学校では希望者15人が語彙アプリを試し10人が自宅学習に便利だと回答。教師は有用な道具と述べたが得点比較なし。希望制で紙カードも利用可能。

独自英文：
A fictional library displayed fifty short English books. Visitors described the books as interesting and the labels as easy to read. Twelve students borrowed at least one book, but staff had not recorded how many words students learned. The library did not claim every student benefited.
全文和訳：架空の図書館では短い英語の本50冊を展示。来館者は本が興味深く表示が読みやすいと述べた。12人が少なくとも1冊借りたが習得単語数は未記録で全生徒の効果は主張していない。
