英作文で『賛成する』と書くときは、agree with a person/an opinion（人・考えに同意）、agree to a proposal（提案・条件を承諾）、agree on a date（複数の人が日程について合意）を区別します。どれも agree ですが、前置詞によって関係が変わります。

まず理解する4つの規則
- agree with＋人・意見が基本。disagree with＋人・意見。
- agree to＋proposal / terms / request で提案や条件への承諾。
- agree on＋plan / date / topic は当事者同士で合意した事項。
- 話し合っただけで合意したとは限らず、実際に決定したかを本文で確認。

誤答：
I agree to my teacher’s opinion about homework.
修正：
I agree with my teacher’s opinion about homework.
和訳：宿題について教師の意見に賛成だ。 解説：意見への同意は agree with が基本です。

英文の場面を読み、例文の語法だけでなく時点・本人の意図・未確定事項が変わっていないか確認しながら修正してください。複数の自然な別解もあり得ます。
学校の宿題計画
独自英文：
At an imaginary school, students discussed a shorter homework schedule. Several students agreed with the teacher’s idea, but the principal did not agree to the proposed timetable change. The school had not agreed on a new schedule.

よくある質問
agree with と agree to は絶対に交換できませんか。
同じ名詞でも文脈によって異なる意味になります。agree with a plan は考えに賛同する響き、agree to a plan は実施を承諾する響きです。
agree on と agree about は違いますか。
どちらも話題について合意する場合がありますが、日程・計画など決定事項には agree on が自然です。
