結論｜期限の起点と数量の上限・下限を区別する
- within 48 hours of X：Xから48時間以内。Xがいつかを先に特定する。
- no later than Friday／by Friday：遅くとも金曜日まで。指定された時刻があればそれを優先。
- at least 15：少なくとも15、15を含む下限。no more than 15：最大15、15を含む上限。
- up to three books：最大3冊。in two hours：今から2時間後。within two hours：2時間以内。
- not until：～するまでは…しない。通常「必ずその瞬間に始まる」とまで断定しない。
- 複数の締切：within 24 hoursとno later than Fridayの両方があれば、双方に合致する必要がある。
特に「at least five days before the event」はイベント5日前を含み、それより早い申込みが条件に合います。イベント後や3日前の申込みではありません。日時の境界については実在イベントの規則を優先してください。本教材の日付・施設は架空の設定です。

復習の進め方
- 最初の10分はwithin・by・inの違いだけを復習し、各表現を自分の予定に当てはめて英文を作る。
- 次にat least・no more than・up toを数字の不等号ではなく、日本語の「以上・以下・最大」で説明する。
- 長文は「受信・登録・返信・開始」それぞれの時点を別の列に書き、何を基準に時間を数えるか明確にする。
- 一つでも追加の締切がある場合、条件Aだけでなく条件Bも満たすか確認する。
- 翌日に全問の誤答を解き直し、一週間後に4長文の時刻・数字を根拠として説明する。

違います。within 48 hoursは48時間以内という範囲、in 48 hoursは現在から48時間後の一点を示すことが多い表現です。
no later than Fridayには金曜日を含みますか？
通常は金曜日を含みます。ただし受付時刻などの別の指定があれば、その具体的な時刻を優先します。
at least 20とno more than 20の違いは？
