英検準2級プラスの英文要約25〜35語では、アンケートの「調査対象人数」と「回答者人数」を区別しましょう。200人に質問して68人が回答した調査を「200人が支持した」と要約するのは誤りです。慶英会の独自4長文24課題で、回答者と全体の違い・未測定の効果・判断状況を正確に書きます。

対象：中高一貫校の中2・中3と高校生。調査人数・回答結果は学習目的の架空データです。公式英検過去問や実際の統計ではありません。モデル要約は25〜35語を事前に検算しています。

4長文24課題の練習順序

独自調査長文1｜図書館の土曜開館アンケート

A school library invited 200 students to answer a voluntary survey about Saturday opening hours. Only 68 students returned the form. Among the respondents, 45 preferred longer opening on Saturdays, while 23 preferred the current schedule. Some students with weekend sports activities said they could not use either option. The librarian emphasized that the results showed the preferences of the 68 respondents, not those of all 200 students. Staff will compare this feedback with operating costs before making a decision. No extended schedule has been approved.

要約する際の注意

少数の回答者から得た希望と、実際に測定した効果は違います。reported wantingとproved reducingを混同せず、観測していない効果を加えないようにしましょう。モデル以外の自然で正確な要約も成立します。
