英検準2級プラスの面接・スピーキング練習で、聞き取れなかった時刻・疑問詞・条件をそのまま推測して答えないようにしましょう。Could you repeat …?などを使って重要情報を確かめ、正確な質問に答える独自8場面32課題です。

対象：準2級プラスで英語の質問を聞き違えやすい中高生。これは家庭・指導時の会話練習です。実際の二次試験での聞き返しの扱い・試験官の対応・時間進行は英検協会の正式案内を優先してください。公式問題や試験官の発話を再現した教材ではありません。

全32課題の取り組み方

  1. 質問のどの情報が曖昧か特定する。
  2. 必要な箇所だけ丁寧に聞き返す。
  3. 確認した内容を短く言い換える。
  4. 質問の意図に沿って具体的に答える。

独自場面1｜聞き取れなかった時刻

最初の質問：What do you usually do after four thirty on Fridays?

【聞き取りにくかった点】The learner did not clearly hear the time.

  1. 確認したい情報を指摘する。
  2. その情報を丁寧に聞き返す。
  3. 聞き直した内容を自分の言葉で確認する。
  4. 質問に一貫した回答をする。

    【相手の言い直し】After four thirty on Fridays.

【全体の和訳・解説】金曜16:30以降の普段の過ごし方を問われた。時刻が聞き取れなければ『時刻をもう一度言っていただけますか』と確認し、金曜16:30以降だと理解したうえで自宅で英単語を復習するなど答える。

最初の質問：Would you prefer an online workshop or an in-person workshop?

【聞き取りにくかった点】The learner did not catch the second type of workshop.

  1. 確認したい情報を指摘する。

【全体の和訳・解説】講演の開始前に受付を終えるべきかの問い。何を完了する必要があるか確認し、話し手が定刻開始できるよう受付を先に済ませると答える。

復習の方法

質問を部分的に聞き取れなかったときに、無関係な長い説明で時間を使わず、何が不明なのかを短く示す練習をします。聞き直した内容に基づいて答えることと、質問の前提が事実と違う場合は丁寧に訂正することを分けてください。
