Families with reserved-seat tickets may enter the hall from 5:15 p.m. and sit in the seats shown on their tickets. The Riverside Science Hall has thirty seated places for a public lecture and space for ten standing visitors at the back. Standing places are free and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis when the doors open at 1:20 p.m. Visitors with confirmed seats should check in by 1:40 p.m. The lecture begins at 2:00 p.m. and lasts fifty minutes. Standing visitors may listen, but they must remain behind the marked line to keep the exit clear. The speaker will answer questions afterward, but a place in the lecture does not guarantee that every visitor can ask a question.

For a community play, the organizers have fifty assigned seats and twenty unassigned seats. Requests for assigned seats were accepted until Monday and chosen by lottery on Tuesday. The lottery winners each received an email containing an individual seat number. Unsuccessful applicants cannot simply take an assigned seat when they arrive. The remaining twenty unassigned seats will be offered at the ticket counter from 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, in the order people join the line. The play starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends at approximately 6:20 p.m. The theater has no standing area. Tickets for both seating categories cost the same amount, so the difference is not the price but how the seat is selected. If someone wins an assigned seat but cannot attend, the organizers ask them to cancel by Friday, allowing the seat to be offered to a waiting applicant.

4択

  1. How were assigned seats selected?
    1. By a Tuesday lottery.
    2. By Saturday arrival order.
    3. By ticket price.
    4. By a list of the oldest visitors.
  2. How does a person get an unassigned seat on Saturday?
    1. By choosing a numbered seat from the lottery.
    2. By standing behind the stage.
    3. By joining the counter line from 4 p.m.
    4. By arriving after the show ends.
  3. What differs between the two ticket categories?

    2. The method of selecting the seat.
    3. The scheduled end time.
    4. The date of the play.
  4. What should a lottery winner do if unable to attend?

A school sports exhibition has two seating areas. The first thirty rows are reserved for participating students and teachers, while the upper gallery has eighty seats for family visitors. Families may choose any available gallery seat after the doors open, but they cannot move to the student-and-teacher section. There is no charge for entry, and there is no need to reserve a gallery seat. However, each family must register the names of visitors by Thursday for school security. Doors open on Saturday at 9:15 a.m., and the first performance begins at 10:00 a.m. The school will not admit visitors once the gallery reaches its eighty-person limit. Parents with a child under six may bring the child, but every person, including the child, counts toward the eighty-person limit. The students’ seating rows are not included in that limit.

4択

  1. Where may family visitors sit?
    1. In the first thirty student rows.
    2. Behind the athletes on the floor.
    3. Only in a numbered reserved seat.
    4. In any available seat in the upper gallery.
  2. What must families do even though gallery seats require no reservation?
    1. Buy assigned-seat tickets.
    2. Register visitor names by Thursday.
    3. Enter the building before Thursday.
    4. Register each student as a teacher.
  3. When does the first performance begin?
    1. 9:15 a.m.
    2. 9:30 a.m.
    3. 10:00 a.m.
    4. 10:15 a.m.
  4. Does a five-year-old family visitor count toward the gallery limit?
    1. Yes.
    2. No, because the child enters free.
    3. No, because only adults count.
    4. Only if the child is a performer.

  1. Gallery seat reservations are required.(正/誤)
  2. Visitor-name registration is required by Thursday.(正/誤)
  3. Families are permitted to sit in the first thirty rows.(正/誤)

The town auditorium has twelve wheelchair-accessible spaces near the entrance, forty numbered seats, and thirty general-admission seats. The accessible spaces are intended for visitors who need them and require advance booking so staff can prepare safe routes. A visitor using an accessible space may bring one accompanying person, but that person’s seat must also be booked. Numbered-seat ticket holders may use only the seat printed on their tickets. General-admission visitors may choose a seat in their own section when doors open at 12:30 p.m. The performance begins at 1:00 p.m. Visitors who have accessibility questions should contact the hall before the visit; staff cannot guarantee a suitable space to someone who simply arrives without the required booking. A general ticket does not provide access to an already reserved accessible space. The number of accessible spaces is not added to the forty numbered seats because they are different categories.

4択

  1. How many wheelchair-accessible spaces are stated?
    1. Forty.
    2. Twelve.
    3. Thirty.
    4. Eighty-two.
  2. What is required to use an accessible space?
    1. Advance booking.

  3. What does an accompanying person need?

    2. A free standing place behind the stage.
    3. A separately booked seat.
    4. A ticket to the next year’s event.
  4. What may a general-admission visitor do?
    1. Use any numbered reserved seat.
    2. Take an accessible space already reserved.
    3. Enter the hall only after the show ends.
    4. Choose a seat in the general section when doors open.
