英検準2級Eメール｜already・still・not yet・no longerを読み分ける独自5通20課題【全訳】

英検準2級WritingのEメール返信では、相手の活動が『もう始まったのか』『まだ準備中なのか』『今も続いているのか』を正確に読んでから答えます。already、still、not yet、no longerを取り違えると質問への返答が内容不一致になりかねません。本教材は独自メール5通×4課題で、主質問への回答・下線部への具体質問2つ・40〜50語の完成文を練習します。

対象：準2級を目指す中2・中3・高1。英検協会の問題を転載せず、メール・英文・和訳を独自制作しています。

4つの時間表現

1. already＝すでに。実行・完成済みを表すことが多い。
2. still＝まだ続いている。継続中の状態を表す。
3. not … yet＝まだ〜していない。未開始・未完了を表す。
4. no longer＝もはや〜でない。以前からの変化を表す。

3日間の自己添削

当日はメールを読んで各活動の状態を「すでに・継続中・未開始・終了」に分類します。次に返信を作り、本文の内容と矛盾がないか確認。翌日は40〜50語のモデルを見ずに書き直し、3日後はalready↔not yetなどに状態を変更して、返信の時制がどう変わるか説明してください。
