Part C|

A community center surveyed residents about its new multilingual notices. Under the stated sampling rule, the survey excluded residents under sixteen. An editor later omitted the age restriction from a short public summary, making the results seem more representative than they were. During the analysis, staff also overlooked several responses without age information. A reviewer explained that these problems did not establish that anyone had deliberately ignored the respondents. The center decided to publish a fuller description of its sample and collect feedback from people who had not been included.

A review found that several earlier maintenance logs had omitted the exact locations of damage. Staff could not determine whether every omission was deliberate or accidental. The museum had also neglected its annual review of inspection procedures for several years. The director decided to revise the records, clarify responsibilities, and train staff to identify damage more consistently.

Several families arrived without reservations. Staff did not ignore their complaints: they explained the mistake and offered an alternative date. During the later feedback review, teachers excluded duplicate responses but kept all valid comments, including negative ones. The school emphasized that removing minor details can be appropriate, while overlooking essential requirements can cause serious confusion.
