factとopinionの基本の違い

I thinkは意見の目印として役立ちますが、すべてのI thinkの後が事実でないとは限りません。話し手が何を言っているかを確認します。例えば『I think the test was easy.』は容易さの評価ですが、『I think the test is on Monday.』は月曜日だと予想している発言です。この教材では曖昧なケースを避け、日時・人数などの記録と明確な好み・評価を対比します。
読み方の3ステップ
- 設問が事実を聞いているか、個人の意見を聞いているか確認する。
- 文中の曜日・人数・場所やI think・bestなどの表現に注目する。
- 本文と一致する情報を探し、書いていない評価を勝手に付けない。
