both・either・neitherの意味と語順

語意味例
both2つともBoth students are here.
eitherどちらでも・どちらか一方Either room is okay.

標準的な文法ではboth of the two students areと複数扱い、either of the two students is・neither of the two students isと単数扱いにします。「2人のうちどちらでもよい」のeitherと「2人とも」のbothは別です。どの語が英検4級の本試験で必ず出るという保証はありません。
