- 最後にどうなったか
例えば「雨で試合が中止→翌日に変更→みんなが参加できた」なら、これを1行にまとめます。本文中の細かな形容詞までメモする必要はありません。
独自30問｜1文要約の練習
問：The class was planned for Monday, but it moved to Tuesday because of rain. What is the main change?
答：The class moved from Monday to Tuesday.
解説：before/afterを短く整理します。
問：Tom lost his key, looked around the park, and finally found it under a bench. What happened last?
答：He found the key under a bench.
解説：最後の出来事を取ります。
問：Mika wanted a bicycle, saved money, and bought one in June. What was the result?
答：She bought a bicycle in June.
解説：行動の積み重ねから結果を取ります。
問：The library was small, so students built a new reading corner. What did they do?
答：They built a new reading corner.
解説：原因→行動の変化です。

解説：変更後を答えます。

本文の中心を一行にする

読み終わった瞬間に10秒で要約する
各段落を読み終えたら、頭の中で「問題→行動→結果」または「出来事→変化→結果」に変換します。これを続けると、設問を見たときに本文全体を再読する回数が減ります。
