英検3級の意見英作文で、理由は分かるのに『役立つ』『楽しくする』『機会を与える』を自然な英語一文にできない中学生へ。慶英会では、help・make・give・save・teachの基本的な語順を、穴埋め・語句整序・誤文修正・和文英訳・意見英作文へつなぐ独自8テーマ40課題にまとめました。25〜35語の模範答案8本も全解答付きで公開しています。
結論：理由を英語で書くときは、help students learn、make students happy、give students chances、save students time、teach students to work togetherのように、動詞の直後の語順をセットで確認します。難しい表現を増やす前に、主語・動詞・目的語・形容詞や不定詞の形を正しく選びましょう。
英検3級の意見英作文は自分の考えと理由2つを書く形式ですが、特定の動詞を必ず使う公式ルールはありません。本記事は慶英会独自の文法・Writing演習であり、公式過去問ではありません。
英検3級意見英作文の形式と語数を確認
日本英語検定協会の公式資料によると、3級WritingはEメール返信1題（15〜25語を目安）と意見英作文1題（25〜35語を目安）です。意見英作文は内容・構成・語彙・文法の観点で評価されます。3級の試験内容と英作文の採点観点で確認できます。
自分の意見を支える理由を2つ考えても、それを伝える英文が不自然だと内容が十分に伝わらない可能性があります。まず一文ずつ正しく書けるようにしてから、25〜35語にまとめます。英検が指定する理由文のテンプレートがあるわけではありません。
理由の英語を作る5つの基本パターン
help＋人＋動詞原形
Reading books helps students learn new words.（読書は新しい単語を学ぶ助けになる）。help students to learnも可能ですが、help students learningはこの構文では不適切です。
make＋人・物＋形容詞
Music makes students happy.（音楽は生徒を楽しくする）。目的語の状態を表す形容詞happyを使い、副詞happilyは使いません。
give＋人＋もの
School trips give students chances to learn.（校外学習は学びの機会を与える）。give chances to studentsという別の語順もあります。人に何を与えるかを考えます。
save＋人＋time
A study plan can save students time.（学習計画は生徒の時間を節約する）。timeは一般的な時間を表すとき不可算なので、many timesとはしません。
teach＋人＋to不定詞
Group projects teach us to work together.（班活動は協力することを教える）。teach＋人＋to動詞の原形を使います。

helpの後にtoを置いてもよいですか？
help students learnとhelp students to learnの両方が使えます。本教材では動詞原形を使う短い表現を中心にしています。
makeの後は必ず形容詞ですか？
