英検2級の意見英作文で一文が長くなりすぎると、主語・動詞・理由の関係が分かりにくくなります。コンマだけで独立した2文をつなぐcomma spliceや、becauseだけの不完全文、howeverの句読点を修正する慶英会独自24問を掲載します。最後に80〜100語の模範英作文2題で文章全体の構成を確認できます。

結論｜長い文は必ずしも得点につながらない

誤：Libraries are useful, students can study there. 改善：Libraries are useful because students can study there. 二つの主語＋動詞をただコンマで接続すると不自然です。because・so・butなどを適切に使うか、二文へ分けます。
