英検2級の会話文でDon’t you have a card?やIsn’t the workshop free?へのYesとNoに迷う方へ。英語の否定疑問文では、実際にカードを持っているならYes, I do.、持っていなければNo, I don’t.と答えます。日本語の『いいえ、持っています』という感覚だけで選ぶと逆になることがあります。またYou work here, don’t you? のような付加疑問文は肯定文と否定文で語尾の助動詞が変わります。慶英会では否定疑問・付加疑問の独自4択30問、誤文修正12問、オリジナル会話2題と内容一致8問を作成しました。

結論｜否定疑問へのYes／Noは質問の形でなく事実の肯定・否定で決める

Don’t you like English?に対して好きならYes, I do.、好きでなければNo, I don’t.です。付加疑問文ではYou work here, don’t you?とYou don’t work here, do you?を比較し、基本的に本文と逆の肯定・否定の形を取ります。

英検協会公式の出題形式との関係

英検協会の英検2級試験内容では、Readingの会話・短文語句空所補充、Listeningの会話内容一致、二次面接の英語による応答があります。否定疑問文や付加疑問文が固定の問題数で出題されるわけではありません。以下は慶英会の独自補強問題です。
