英検2級リスニングの場所・時刻・理由｜where・when・whyを3点セットで聞く独自36問＋4会話

英検2級リスニングの会話では、場所・時刻・理由が同時に出てくることがあります。数字だけ拾うと、どの場所の何時なのかを取り違えます。「where」「when」「why」を一つの場面としてまとめる練習をします。

結論｜「場所→時刻→理由」の3点をセットで聞く

たとえば「Meet me at the west gate at 7:50 because the east gate is closed.」なら、場所＝west gate、時刻＝7:50、理由＝east gate closedです。

独自36問

1. Meet at the library at 4. Why?→場所・時刻・理由を3点で答える。
2. Station at 8 because of traffic.→station / 8 / traffic。
3. West gate at 7:50 because construction.→west gate / 7:50 / construction。
4. Cafe at noon because restaurant is full.→cafe / noon / restaurant full。
5. Room B at 3 because Room A is reserved.→Room B / 3 / Room A reserved。
6. Home at 6 because the library closes early.→home / 6 / library closes early。
7. Park at 10 unless it rains.→条件も保持。
8. Online at 5 because the meeting is remote.→online / 5 / remote。
9. Gym at 4 after class.→gym / 4 / after class。
10. Bus stop at 7 because the train is delayed.→bus stop / 7 / train delayed。
11. 場所だけ聞かれたら時刻を答えない。
12. 時刻だけ聞かれたら理由を長く説明しない。
13. Whyと聞かれたらbecause以下を探す。
14. Whereと聞かれたらat/in/nearなどの場所を探す。
15. Whenと聞かれたら時間・日付を探す。
16. 変更前の場所を最終場所としない。
17. 変更前の時刻を最終時刻としない。
18. 理由と結果を逆にしない。
19. because ofの後ろは名詞句。
20. becauseの後ろは主語＋動詞。
21. due toの後ろは名詞句。
22. soの後ろは結果。
23. thereforeは結果・結論を示す。
24. insteadは代替案を示す。
25. actuallyは訂正・変更の手掛かり。
26. finallyは最終段階の手掛かり。
27. 選択肢が場所は正しいが時刻が違う場合→不正解。
28. 選択肢が時刻は正しいが理由が違う場合→不正解。
29. 場所と理由が正しくても、変更前情報なら不正解。
30. “by 7:50”は遅くとも7:50まで。
31. “at 7:50”は7:50という時刻。
32. “after 7:50”は7:50より後。
33. “before 7:50”は7:50より前。
34. “near the station”と“at the station”を区別。
35. 最終確認：where / when / whyを別々に言えるか。
36. 最終確認：最終決定の場所・時刻・理由になっているか。
