英検2級リスニングのひっかけ選択肢対策｜途中の提案と最終決定を分ける独自36問

英検2級リスニングで失点しやすい選択肢は、本文や会話に出てきた単語をそのまま含みながら、最後の決定・変更・目的を少しだけ変えているタイプです。「聞こえた単語があるから正解」と判断せず、話者が最終的に何をするのか、何を選んだのかを確認することが重要です。この記事では独自36問で、選択肢の誘導を見抜く練習をします。

結論｜選択肢では「同じ単語」より「最終状態」を照合する

会話の途中でA案が提案されても、最後にB案へ変更されることがあります。選択肢がA案の語句を含んでいるだけなら、それは誤答候補です。特にbut, actually, instead, decided, changed, probablyに注意します。

独自36問｜ひっかけ選択肢を見抜く

1. 「Let’s take the bus.」の後に選んだ行動は？ → Bus.
2. 「I wanted to go Friday, but Thursday is cheaper.」最終選択は？ → Thursday.
3. 「The manager suggested Room A, but it was already reserved.」最終決定は？ → 別の部屋。
4. 「I planned to call, but I’ll email instead.」方法は？ → Email.
5. 「We can meet at 5, but 6 is better for me.」最終候補は？ → 6.
6. 「The train was delayed, so they took a bus.」乗ったのは？ → Bus.
7. 「She considered the red shirt, but bought the blue one.」購入は？ → Blue.
8. 「They wanted the larger room, but only the smaller one was available.」利用するのは？ → Smaller.
9. 「He planned to study at the library, but it was closed.」代替は？ → 別の場所。
10. 「The first price looked low, but shipping was expensive.」安い方をそのまま選んだ？ → 必ずしもそうではない。
11. 「She suggested walking; he proposed taking the train instead.」最終案は？ → Train.
12. 「The event was scheduled for Monday, but it was moved to Tuesday.」開催日は？ → Tuesday.
13. 「He wanted tea, but coffee was available.」実際に何を飲んだか本文にない場合？ → 断定しない。
14. 「The woman agrees with the new plan.」意見は？ → 賛成。
15. 「She doesn’t mind waiting.」これは「すぐ帰りたい」と同じ？ → 違う。
16. 「He may join later.」確定？ → 未確定。
17. 「They decided not to cancel.」キャンセルした？ → していない。
18. 「The man had planned to drive.」実際に運転したとは限る？ → 限らない。
19. 「Instead of buying a new one, they repaired it.」何をした？ → Repair.
20. 「The woman recommends the museum.」目的は？ → 推奨。
21. 「He asks the woman to send the file.」誰が送る？ → Woman.
22. 「She offers to help him.」誰を助ける？ → Him.
23. 「He refuses the offer.」受け入れた？ → No.
24. 「They agree to meet later.」会う？ → Yes.
25. 「The man changes his mind after hearing the price.」最初の案をそのまま実行？ → No.
26. 「She thinks the old plan is better, but the group chooses the new plan.」何が聞かれているかを確認 → 個人意見と最終決定を区別。
27. 「He says the museum is interesting, but he cannot go today.」行く？ → 今日は行けない。
28. 「They might go on Sunday.」日曜に確定？ → No.
29. 「He needs to finish the report before lunch.」完了済み？ → 本文がそう言わなければ不明。
30. 「She will call if the problem continues.」必ず電話する？ → 条件付き。
31. 「The woman is surprised by the result.」賛成と同じ？ → 違う。
32. 「He is worried about the schedule.」予定変更が確定した？ → 不明。
33. 「They prefer the second option.」第一案を選んだ？ → No.
34. 「She says the new time is convenient.」元の時刻を選んだ？ → No.
35. 「He suggests waiting.」すぐ行動した？ → 必ずしもそうではない。
36. 最も危険な選択肢は？ → 会話中に一度出た単語を使いながら最終決定を変えたもの。

選択肢を見る3つの質問

1. その内容は最後の状態か。
2. 話者の確定した行動・決定か、それとも途中の提案か。
3. 選択肢の強さ（will / may / probably / must）は本文と一致するか。

会話1

Man: Are you going to the science event on Saturday? Woman: I was going to, but my sister has a tournament that day. I may go on Sunday instead.

ポイント：Saturdayは予定変更前。Sundayは可能性。

会話2

Woman: Did you reserve the restaurant? Man: I tried, but it was full. I booked the cafe next door.

ポイント：restaurantではなくcafe。

会話3

Man: Shall we take the train? Woman: The train is cheap, but the bus is faster. Let’s take the bus.

ポイント：trainの情報が出ても最終決定はbus。

会話4

Woman: Can you meet at five? Man: I can’t. Six is possible. Woman: Six works for me.

答え：6 p.m.

会話5

Man: Did you buy the black notebook? Woman: I wanted to, but I chose the blue one because it was on sale.

答え：Blue notebook.

会話6

Woman: Will you call the office? Man: I planned to call, but I’ll send an email first.

答え：Email first.
