英検2級のReadingでmake・let・have・getを『〜させる』とすべて同じ意味にしてしまう方へ。使役動詞は動詞の後ろの形が異なり、誰が実際に作業したのかを読み間違える原因になります。さらにsee・hear・watchは、動作を最後まで見たのか進行中の場面を見たのかによって意味が変わることがあります。慶英会では、make/let/have/getと知覚動詞、受動態を6分野に分け、独自4択30問、誤文修正12問、オリジナル長文2題・内容一致8問の計50問を公開しました。学校のNEW TREASUREで学ぶ文法を、英検2級のReading・Writingへ転用する教材です。
結論｜make・let・have・getは後ろの形と、作業する人を確認する
The teacher made students check the equipment. なら先生が生徒に点検させました。The school had the equipment checked. なら機材を点検してもらった形です。get the worker to repair とget the device repairedも動作主が異なります。形式と主語を分けて理解してください。
2026年度の英検2級の形式との関係
英検協会の2級試験内容では、Readingに短文空所17問、説明文の長文空所6問、Eメール・説明文の内容一致8問があり、Writingは英文要約・意見英作文各1題です。使役動詞のみの独立大問はなく、本記事は文構造の意味を補強する慶英会独自の練習教材です。
