3つの構文を同じ内容で比較する
a way to remember words（単語の覚え方）、a way of remembering words（単語を覚える方法）、This is how we remember words.（これが覚え方です）。意味は似ていますが、名詞wayの後のtoとof、疑問詞howの後ろで語形が変わります。
なぜthe way howを避ける？
howには「どのように」という方法の意味が含まれます。標準的な英作文ではthe way we do it、the way in which we do it、how we do itのいずれかを使うと構造が明確です。the way how …を基本構文として暗記しないでください。
