Original Reading: At a high school, a science club prepared a public research exhibition. Twelve students belonged to the club, and three had completed the safety training required for a laser demonstration. Aya was one of the students who had completed that training. Ken was the only one of the three who had also received permission to lead the demonstration without another student operator. Before the event, several reports were submitted. One of the reports that were submitted on Monday contained an incorrect date, and the editor returned it for revision. The number of reports that needed corrections was small, but the committee did not confuse that count with the number of individual mistakes. On Thursday, two volunteers who checked the source links found a broken reference. Ken was the only volunteer who stayed late to repair it.
