2025年度から英検協会の準1級要約指示は “Summarize it between 60 and 70 words.”

  • 数量:some→all、several→mostなど、人数や対象を無根拠に拡大する。
  • 確実性:may / might / hope / planを、will / proved / completedに変える。

独自原文(144語):A neighborhood group organized a food-sharing program to reduce waste from local shops. Volunteers collected unsold products and placed suitable items in a shared refrigerator. Early participation was encouraging, but the organizers soon faced practical difficulties. Some donated food lacked clear labels, and the temperature of the refrigerator was not checked consistently. The group did not claim that any unsafe food had caused illness, but it recognized that incomplete records could create risks. It introduced regular temperature checks, clearer product rules, and training for volunteers. Staff also began recording how much food was distributed safely rather than counting donations alone. The organizers hope that the program will reduce some avoidable waste, although they have not measured its long-term environmental effect. They plan to continue a limited trial and review the cost of operating and maintaining the equipment before deciding whether to expand the service.

慶英会の要約例(62語):A community food-sharing program aims to reduce waste by distributing suitable surplus products. However, unclear labels and irregular temperature checks may create safety risks. Organizers therefore introduce monitoring, product rules, and volunteer training, while recording how much food is distributed safely. They will evaluate operating costs and longer-term effects before expanding the trial, rather than treating donation totals as proof of success.

独自原文(138語):A town introduced an online reservation option for buses serving communities with limited transport services. The system allowed some passengers to book journeys without calling the town office, and the first month brought many registrations. However, several older residents reported difficulty using the application because they had limited experience with smartphones. Officials added a telephone booking option and began providing guidance at community centers. They also discovered that a higher number of reservations did not necessarily mean residents could reach hospitals or shops at convenient times. The town started measuring completed journeys, waiting times, and the cost of operating each route. While the trial suggests that flexible booking may be useful, officials have not yet determined whether the changes have improved access across all neighborhoods. They intend to compare several months of results before making the system permanent.

慶英会の要約例(61語):A town’s online bus reservations may make booking easier, but some older residents struggle with smartphones. Officials add telephone bookings and community guidance to improve access. 3.

独自原文(135語):Urban planners are investigating whether small green spaces can help insects move between larger parks. In one fictional district, volunteers planted native flowers along two short routes and recorded observations during several weekends. Some species were seen near the new plants, but researchers warned that the findings were preliminary. Changes in weather and the number of volunteers could influence what was recorded, and the observations did not establish that the routes had increased insect populations. The planners also had to consider pedestrians, maintenance costs, and whether the plants would survive during dry periods. Rather than expand the project throughout the city, officials decided to continue monitoring the two routes and compare them with similar untreated areas. They hope the results will help determine where small green connections could be beneficial without creating unnecessary maintenance burdens.

慶英会の要約例(61語):A district is testing flower-lined routes to help insects move between parks. Some species have been observed, but weather and survey methods limit the evidence, and population growth has not been established. Officials therefore monitor trial routes and compare untreated areas while considering pedestrians, plant survival, and maintenance costs. They will decide where green connections may be useful after further evaluation.

独自原文(135語):A training center began offering short online lessons to adults who had difficulty attending long classes after work. The new format attracted more registrations, and many participants completed the videos. At first, administrators treated course completion as a sign of success. Later, instructors found that some learners could repeat definitions but struggled to apply the skills to unfamiliar workplace tasks. The center added practice projects and feedback sessions, and asked participants to explain how they reached their decisions. Managers also realized that convenient lesson times did not solve every problem: some students still lacked reliable internet access or suitable study space at home. The center will now assess practical performance and learner access alongside video completion. It hopes the program will become more effective, but has not yet shown that the changes improve employment outcomes.

慶英会の要約例(60語):Short online lessons attract working adults, but completing videos does not necessarily show practical competence. Some learners struggle with unfamiliar tasks and lack suitable internet access or study space. A training center therefore adds realistic projects and feedback while evaluating skills and accessibility. It hopes these changes will improve learning, although no effect on employment outcomes has yet been established.
