- object to a policy / object to doing:提案や行為へ異議を唱える。
- protest against a decision / hold a protest:抗議の行動・表明。
- disagree with a claim / disagree with someone:解釈や主張に同意しない。
- opposition to / be against:反対という名詞・形容詞的な表現。

Part D|
A fictional town council proposed keeping a neighborhood park open two hours later in summer. Some residents supported the change because people who worked during the day would have more opportunities to use the paths. Others opposed the proposal, warning that noise might disturb nearby homes. A local wildlife group objected to installing bright lamps near trees, but it did not demand that the entire park be closed. Instead, members suggested lighting only the main path and examining its effect on insects. At a public meeting, a few people protested against the council’s decision to begin a trial before a full environmental study. The council listened to the different views and decided to test shorter evening hours in one section. Officials said the trial would not automatically lead to permanent opening and that concerns raised by opponents would be reviewed.
問33.Why did some residents support later opening?
問34.What did other residents oppose?
問35.Did the wildlife group demand complete park closure?
問36.What did the council decide?
A fictional school discussed making one learning application compulsory for all homework. The principal believed that a common system could simplify communication between teachers and families. Several teachers, however, objected to requiring students to use personal phones because some families did not have suitable devices. A parents’ association published a statement disagreeing with the claim that digital homework was always more effective than printed exercises. It did not oppose all educational technology. Instead, the group called for an alternative way to submit work. Some students organized a peaceful protest against the immediate introduction of the rule. The school eventually delayed a final decision and arranged a trial with both digital and paper options. The principal explained that criticism of a particular requirement was not the same as resistance to every form of digital learning.
問37.What concern did some teachers raise?
問38.Did the parents’ association oppose all technology?
問39.What did some students protest against?
問40.What was the final action?

object to a proposal / object to doingとは構文が異なります。
I disagree with the idea that …
