公式形式と本教材の違い

英検3級の公式試験内容によると、リスニングは約25分・計30問です。第1部は3択で放送1回・イラスト付き、第2・3部は4択で放送2回。本ページは録音音声・補助イラストのない独自の家庭用読み上げ教材で、公式過去問ではありません。

初見の聞き取り方法

1. 解答者に台本と解答を見せず、家族や講師が英文を読み上げます。
2. 第1部型は1回、第2・3部型は2回を目安に聞きます。
3. not / but / instead / becauseが聞こえたら、理由や訂正に注意します。
4. 答え合わせ後に根拠となる英文を音読し、再度聞き取ります。

独学では自分の音読を録音できますが、本番の音声とは異なります。英検協会の公式音声付き過去問も併用しましょう。

頻出の聞き違えを直す

会話で『the meeting was canceled』と聞こえても、相手が『It wasn’t canceled. It was moved to Thursday.』と訂正すれば、中止ではなく日程変更です。また緑のリュックを選んだ理由は、青いものが大きすぎたのではなく重すぎたからです。理由を尋ねるWhyと選んだ行動を尋ねるWhat did … do?を区別します。

数字も同様です。新しく45個のボールを注文した場合、『何個注文したか』には45個と答えます。手元にある27個との合計を求められたわけではありません。数字の計算が必要な設問と不要な設問を見分けましょう。

3回の復習で理解する

初回は台本を隠して30問を解き、翌日に誤答の英文と和訳を照合して音読します。3日後に同じ英文をもう一度聞き、根拠を示せるか確認します。単に正解番号を覚えるのではなく、理由や条件を説明できるようにします。
